Whether you decide to take a walk, drive a scenic route, or simply relax on the front porch, Larew Cottage affords plenty of opportunity to unwind and rediscover the beautiful world around us.

At the cottage you might take a walk along the single lane country road or wander along a trail.  You can bring your bikes for moderately hilly rides.  Volleyball, crouquet, and other lawn games are possible at the cottage.

Within 15-mile area you can find canoeing, fishing, golf, craft and antique shopes, a historic mill, and horseback riding. Access to the Appalachian Trail is close and provides wonderful trail opportunities.

The more adventurous might enjoy snow skiing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, or explore national forest and a national scenic river.  These options are within 60 miles of Larew Cottage.
